It took us 14 days to reach India from Myanmar. We walked from our house till the border and then took a bus till Bangladesh. We again walked till the border and then took a train from Bengal to finally reach Delhi.
We started living here (Kalindi Kunj) in 2012. When I came to India, I only had one daughter. Today I have four children and my husband has passed away. We were re-building our lives but now we have to start all over again as our houses have been burnt down. In one house, about two to three families live together. I work as a domestic help in few houses and send my children to school.
If we are asked to go back, we would kill ourselves - that would be better than being murdered in Myanmar. India is a free country and we would like live here.
